Gore is a distinguished leader in finance, with 40 years of experience in client relations and business strategy. Retiring in 2010, he most recently served as an office managing partner at WTW, where he maintained responsibility for ensuring client satisfaction and cultivating positive relationships with both staff and clients. Having dedicated numerous decades to WTW throughout his career, Mr. Gore contributed to the organization’s growth and reputation in executive compensation. He was frequently recognized as a trusted advisor, which led to his promotion to partner. Before joining the team at WTW, Mr. Gore served at Arthur Young & Company for several years, gaining valuable management consulting experience. His pursuit of vocational excellence began as a student at the University of Wyoming, from which he earned a bachelor's degree in English literature in 1970. After accruing some years in the field, he returned to higher education and obtained an MBA in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1976. In accounting for his success, Mr. Gore credits his diligent work ethic, attention to detail and the support of his many mentors throughout his career. Recognizing that management consulting is often a demanding, high-pressure environment, he strongly advocates for effective leadership and notes that being present and candid with colleagues may make a substantial difference in morale. Beyond his profession, Mr. Gore is chair of the board at Windrush Farm Therapeutic Education Inc. in North Andover, Massachusetts, which provides equine-assisted services for children and adults coping with physical, cognitive and/or emotional challenges. Likewise, he held positions on the board of directors of both the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and the Essex County Community Foundation. Volunteerism remains paramount to Mr. Gore, and he intends to continue volunteering to positively impact his community in his retirement. BOB C.
