With a shift toward entrepreneurship, she served as president for IsI Enterprises, LLC and its subsidiaries. Since 2020, she has excelled as president and chief executive officer of J. Robbins Enterprises, LLC. An acclaimed entrepreneur and industry leader, Ms. Travis served 11 years as the co-founder and executiveof an industrial security company. During her tenure, she desired to found her own company that focused on promoting other businesses, particularly small businesses. As a result, she has found a genuine joy in examining business models and capturing accolades on their behalf. Civically, Ms. Travis enjoys activities with her two daughters. From being a member of the PTA and coaching youth basketball to acting as the head timer at swim meets, she is actively participating around her community and her children’s interests. Ms. Travis’ community and charitable contributions include JDRF My Ride to Cure Diabetes, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, CodeVA, Herndon Cares, No Kid Hungry and the Optimist Club of Herndon, to name a few. Receiving several honors and recognitions herself, Ms. Travis received a Silver Award for Female Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2020 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business, named 2020 CIO Bulletin Startup of the Month, 2019 Female Executive of the Year, 2018 Female Entrepreneur of theYear and 2018Most Innovative Woman of the Year. She was further named a 2018 Aspioneer’s Flying High Women Leader, and her involvement with past companies earned them the 2017 Company of the Year Award, 2017 Fastest-Growing Company of the Year Award and 2017 Management Team of the Year Award. H ailing from a family that valued education, Jeanne A. Travis sought to hone her talents at the Virginia Polytechnic and State University, where she attained a Bachelor of Science in mathematics in 1995.
