Ms. LaTourette is also serving her industry as an executive committee member in the Real Property Law Section and as chair of the Title Standards Sub-Committee for the Georgia State Bar. In these roles, she aims to effect changes in the real estate and title industry, emphasizing her commitment to improving client experience in real estate law. real estate litigation, passed the Georgia Bar exam and was admitted to practice. In 2015, she left Dickenson Gilroy LLC and, with her husband, cofounded Bold Examinations LLC, a commercial real estate title examination company. These positions gave her valuable experience in her field, preparing her for her next step at Schulten Ward Turner & Weiss LLP, where she has spent nearly her entire career as an attorney. The firm’s founding partner, Wm. Scott Schulten, hired Ms. LaTourette, guiding her as her mentor and teaching her to practice law. Through his supervision and exceptional example, she learned how to counsel clients as a legal advisor, approaching matters holistically while maintaining a practical perspective. As a result of Mr. Schulten’s guidance, she focuses on giving clients real-world advice to help them achieve the outcomes they want. Through Mr. Schulten and other mentors at her firm, Ms. LaTourette has grown into a capable lawyer and was named a partner in 2023 – her proudest professional achievement to date.
